De Villiers admits to 'feeling pressure' after second ODI loss to Pak

South African captain AB de Villiers has admitted that he was feeling pressure over shortcomings in batting order after his team's 66-run defeat against Pakistan in the second day-night international in Dubai on Friday.

According to the Dawn, South Africa slumped to their second lowest total against Pakistan when they were bowled out for 143 in 40.4 overs after chasing a modest 210-run target.

The captain said that any captain that leads a proud nation like South Africa and the Proteas team feels pressure and he does feel pressure.

However, he added that he was now enjoying his captaincy more than ever and feels that he is getting good response from the guys.

De Villiers further said that Pakistan had two bowlers in the top five in one-day rankings but he had full confidence that they would bounce back.

De Villiers also said that his team was working hard to overcome batting woes.

Amla returned home for the birth of his child ahead of the second Test, which South Africa won last week to level the two-match series 1-1, the report said.

Spearhead Dale Steyn will also join the team after missing the first two one-days to have rest at home, the report added.
