Demi Lovato has revealed that she has passed through a "deep and dark" passage to get rid of her drug addiction and eating disorder.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 'Made in the USA' hitmaker, who went to rehab in 2011, said that when she was in treatment, she thought her career was over, the New York Daily News reported.
But when she came out of treatment, she had more supportive fans than ever, the 21-year-old singer asserted.
Lovato, who is all set to pen down a tell-all memoir, added that if people really knew how dark and deep her struggles got with drugs and alcohol, they'd be really shocked.
