Matt Harvey, who recently labelled Derek Jeter as the "model" playboy, has defended his comment, claiming that all he meant was he wanted to be like the Yankee star in good ways.
Harvey was quoted in a Men's Journal profile on Wednesday saying that he looked up to Jeter as the "model" playboy who bags beautiful women, but no one never hears about it.
The right-hander, who is currently dating Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Anne Vyalitsyna, is now backtracking from that statement, saying he only used Jeter as an example of how he probably goes out, but you never hear anything bad, the New York Post reported.
Harvey tweeted that it really sucks how words get used and completely taken out of context.
