Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq believes that his side will carry forward their recent momentum to beat Sri Lanka in the upcoming Test series, which starts on June 17.
Pakistan will play three Tests, five One-Day Internationals and two Twenty20 games against the hosts.
Pakistan gained a new-found momentum following the two-match Test series win over Bangladesh as well as the limited-overs win at home against Zimbabwe last month.
The veteran captain said that his players are in good form, adding that they stand a good chance of winning in Sri Lanka, the Dawn reports.
Misbah further said that although they would miss the services of ace off-spinner Saeed Ajmal, he has enough firepower in his bowling arsenal to subdue the hosts' explosive batsmen.
