Indian skipper MS Dhoni remained tight-lipped on the spot-fixing scandal that hit the recently concluded Indian Premier League 6.
Dhoni didn't utter a word when asked to respond on the spot-fixing scandal.
Media manager Dr. R. N. Baba stopped the scribe from probing the skipper further, asking the media to stick to questions pertaining to Champions Trophy. The team is leaving for England later tonight for the tournament.
Dr. Baba is an official of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association and is also one of Srinivasan's close aides. He has performed the duties of media manager for a major part of the last season. His son Aparajith is an U-19 India and contracted player of CSK.
Three cricketers S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan were arrested by Delhi Police recently for their alleged role in spot-fixing.
IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings, of which Dhoni is skipper, is also embroiled in the spot-fixing controversy. CSK CEO Gurunath Meyiappan was on Sunday arrested for being allegedly involved in betting.
Dhoni was hopeful of good show by his boys in the Champions Trophy, starting in England on June 6.
