Music producer Dr. Luke has filed a defamation lawsuit against celebrity attorney Mark Geragos, for suggesting that he raped Lady Gaga over social media.
Lady Gaga had recently revealed on Howard Stern's radio show that she was sexually assaulted as a 19-year-old, however she had not taken any names, the Washington Times reported.
Following the interview, Mr. Geragos, who is also representing pop singer Kesha in a separate rape suit against the producer, tweeted, "Guess who the rapist was?" and replied "Bingo" when someone asked it was Dr. Luke.
Dr. Luke had filed a lawsuit that claimed that it was an extortion attempt by Kesha and her mother to gain a more favorable recording contract, and now, has also filed defamation suit which mentions that he didn't even know Lady Gaga at the time of the alleged encounter.
"Geragos has gone way too far with his arrogant and irresponsible conduct; he has lost all sense of ethics, propriety and decency", states the documents.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga's representative had called the accusation "utterly incomprehensible" saying it was shocking that someone would take advantage of such a sensitive matter.
