Serena Williams has opened up about her relationship with former boyfriend Drake and said that he should not have been blamed for her US Open defeat.
In a recent interview with the July issue of Glamour magazine, the 34-year-old ace tennis player said that it was not fair enough to blame the rapper for her loss to Roberta Vinci at the US Open semi-finals last September, Mirror reports.
Adding on to this, she said, "I'm the one who's playing, who's making mistakes or making winners. I'm not one to blame anyone else for anything. And I don't think anyone else should either."
The American ace tennis player said she played against really good opponent that day and was not at her best.
Last year, Williams' hopes of securing a calendar Grand Slam were shattered after she lost to Roberta Vinci in the US Open semi-finals.
