The internet reacted rapidly to American rapper-songwriter Eminem's return with a brand new song, entitled 'Campaign Speech,' that addresses presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The 44-year-old rapper from Detroit delivered on Twitter a lengthy lyrics flowing for eight minutes over a minimal beat, describing the Republican candidate as "****in' loose cannon" who "doesn't have to answer to no one".
While some cannot wait for the 'Love the Way You Lie' singer's upcoming work, which he announced at the same time, others are less than enthused.
The lines referring to Trump reads"
"A bunch of Trump supporters underwater.
Snuck up on 'em in Ray Bans in a gray van with a spray tan
It's a wrap, like an Ace bandage.
Consider me a dangerous man
But you should be afraid of this dang candidate
A ****in' loose cannon who's blunt with his hand on the button
Who doesn't have to answer to no one. Great idea!"
Some Twitter users also pointed out the explicitly homophobic lines, as well as the lyrics about rape.
See some of the Twitter's reactions to 'Campaign Speech':
""Campaign Speech" by @Eminem ... don't really care about politics, but I care about lyricists. 8 minutes of eargasm. Ridiculous wordplay."
"I'd hate to be a @realDonaldTrump supporter and an @Eminem fan right about now lol."
"Man... This Guy @Eminem... Wow."
"Eminem gotta know them rape lyrics ain't gonna fly anymore, right?"
"well i made it 30 seconds into the new eminem song which is also how long it took for bars about rape."
"an eight minute Eminem freestyle is like seven and a half more minutes of Eminem rapping than I need or want in 2016."
"i love this world we'd rather hear "i sit back and read like cat in the hat" than anything eminem has to say can we stay in 2016 forever"
