Ex-Bangladesh Chhatra League president shot in Dhaka

Former Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) president Enamul Haq Shamim was shot at by unknown miscreants in front of his Dhanmondi house here this morning.

Shamim received a bullet in his left hand, hospital. He was attacked at around 9.50 a.m. local time.

Shamim, who was the president of the central unit of the BCL, has been admitted to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for treatment, the Daily Star quoted Mozammel Haque, the station house officer in-charge of the DMCH police camp.
