New Manchester United signing Marouane Fellaini has said that Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo made a mistake in not returning to his former side United this season during the transfer window.

Although the Belgian player is United's only major arrival during the transfer window, many had tipped the unsettled Ronaldo to come back to Old Trafford again during that window, although the move never happened with Ronaldo signing a new deal at Madrid.

According to Metro.co.uk, however Fellaini believes that Ronaldo made a mistake in not joining United along with him this season, adding that it is 'just too bad for him'.

Meanwhile, Fellaini reiterated his satisfaction at playing at United, saying that he feels great in the club, adding that when he sees supporters turning up at United matches wearing a copy of his trademark afro hairstyle, it helps his game improve.
