Two seats of Goa, three of Assam and one each of Tripura and Sikkim which went to polls on Saturday witnessed a high voter turnout.
In the state of Tripura where Tripura (East) seat which went for polls today saw a voter turnout of 81.8 per cent.
Assam's three seats consisting of the Autonomous District, Karimganj and Silchar seats saw 75 per cent turnout.
The state of Sikkim went for simultaneous Lok Sabha and assembly elections on Saturday. The lone Lok Sabha seat witnessed a turnout of 76 per cent.
While Goa which went for a single phased polls witnessed a voter turnout of 75 per cent for its North and South Goa seats.
