Fresh firing has been heard from inside the Karachi Airport here on Monday, media reports in Pakistan said.
Earlier in the day, during a more than five-hour-long siege by heavily armed militants at the airport, at least 23 people lost their lives, including some security personnel.
Defense expert Baharat Verma said, "In the future, the Taliban is almost set to take over Pakistan, and it should be a matter of great concern for India, as it shows that Taliban and terrorist groups can strike anywhere."
Talking about India's name being dragged into the violence, Verma said, "If so many people could enter the airport with rocket launchers, then it shows a major security lapse. India is not involved in it. It is busy with its reconstruction these days. If the assailants are being suspected of hailing from Uzbekistan and carrying Indian made weapons, then they need to show the Indian markings, and it could be proven only after India approves of it, because till now, among the neighboring countries India has not been involved in any such activities."
Moreover Shiv Sena leader, Sanjay Raut said that "Pakistan needs to shut down the terrorist camps running inside the country, only then these activities will come to an end.
