The season five premiere of 'Glee', which was due to return on September 19, has been postponed by one week, following the death of it's star Cory Monteith.
The 31-year-old was found dead in a hotel room following an overdose of heroin and alcohol last weekend.
The premiere has been pushed back until September 26, Contactmusic reported.
Fox released a statement, saying that in light of the tragic passing of the beloved cast member of the musical comedy show, the series' executive producers- 20th Century Fox Television and Fox Broadcasting Company- have jointly decided to delay the start of production of 'Glee' until early August.
