Google has added support for ten new languages, including Malayalam- a South Indian language- to its translation tool.
The addition of Malayalam, one of India's six classical languages, is an attempt by the search engine to reach out to a population of 38 million Keralites.
According to Tech Crunch, the move is significant because it ties into Google's efforts to get more Indian users onto its services.
Below is the list of the 10 new language additions:
Chichewa (from Malawi)
Malagasy (from Madagascar)
