Chief Secretary of Haryana, S. C. Choudhary today apologised to IAS officer Pradeep Kasni, who was allegedly threatened by him.
"Pradeep Kasni is my friend; We exchange jokes with each other. I have sent a text message to him and have said that I regret my words if I have hurt your sentiments. I have written this and I am not denying it.He is my friend and he will continue to remain my friend, he has not replied to my SMS. I think he should have come straight to me but instead he chose to go to media," Choudhary said.
Earlier today Pradeep Kasni, Secretary of the Haryana Administrative Reforms Department, had sought an apology from the state Chief Secretary, for allegedly sending him threat messages on grounds of objecting to the issuance of appointment letters to the SICs and RTSCs .
