The Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government has come out with an innovative drive to combine its social security schemes with the sibling festival of Raksha Bandhan.
According to reports, the drive enables the brothers to gift three social security schemes, Pradhanmantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Pradhanmantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana to their sisters on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
The brothers can buy three types of cheques worth Rs. 201, 351 and 5001 to their sisters, giving them the benefits of the social security schemes.
This can also be seen as an endeavor on part of the ruling dispensation to help the women in an innovative way.
