Damian Lewis might just be the 'special one' to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond, as it has been rumored that the actor might be roped in to play the British spy.
According to the Mirror, a source has revealed that if Daniel Craig left the Bond series, it was Lewis who would be crowned the new Bond, adding that that the bosses were convinced 'Homeland' star was their man.
The source added that Lewis was an all-round international star who was perfect for the role and looked increasingly suave and sophisticated.
It was rumoured that 'Luther' star or Idris Elba would be Craig's successor, that would make him the first black Bond.
Recently, Craig has hinted that he was ready to quit the role when he was asked if he would like to play Bond one more time.
