All-rounder Kedar Jadhav scored his maiden ODI century on Tuesday as India made a stunning comeback to set a challenging 277-run target for Zimbabwe in the third and final one-day international at Harare.

Jadhav produced a brilliant knock as he remained unbeaten on 105 to lift the tourists from a precarious position. The 30-year-old batsman's ton included 12 fours and one six.

Put in to bat first, India struggled against a disciplined bowling attack by their African rivals and were reeling at 82-4 in 21.4 overs.

Stand-in-captain Ajinkya Rahane and opener Murali Vijay were dismissed cheaply for their respective scores of 15 and 13. Robin Uthappa failed to convert his good start as he was removed by Hamilton Masakadsa for 31.

After the departure of Manoj Tiwary (10), debutant Manish Pandey and Jadhav steadied the ship as the duo built a strong 144-run partnership for the fifth wicket.

Manish made 71 off 86 before he fell prey to a delivery by Chamu Chibhabha.

Subsequently, all-rounder Stuart Binny provided a late flourish as he smacked a brisk 18 off mere eight balls to help his side set a challenging target for the hosts.

India have already secured the series after winning the second ODI on Sunday and will attempt to whitewash their opponents when they bowl.
