Jake Gyllenhaal has recently paid a tribute to his 'Brokeback Mountain' co-star, Heath Ledger.
Praising Ledger, the 34-year-old actor said, in a recent interview, that "extraordinary" Australian actor was one of the main reasons he agreed to appear in the film, adding that he has always admired the latter, News.com.au reports.
Almost eight years after the death of Ledger, Gyllenhaal remembers him and the film just as fondly.
Gyllenhaal also revealed that the two were friends even before they started filming the 2005 film.
