Jeremy Renner has confirmed that he will appear as William Brandt in Mission
When the 'Bourne Legacy' actor was asked by Yahoo whether he will star in the second season of his hit show True Detective, Renner said that Mission: Impossible 5 was rearing its head, the BBC reported.
The 43-year-old actor will join the previous cast mates Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg in the latest sequel of the action movie.
The fourth film in the franchise, 2011's Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, starred Renner as the IMF Secretary's chief analyst and former IMF field agent William Brandt.
