The Kardashian family's lawsuit against former stepmother demanding 50,000 dollars in sanctions in the ongoing battle over Robert Kardashian's personal belongings, has been rejected by a judge.
In addition to the 500,000 dollars, the first family of reality television also asked for profits, statutory damages, punitive and exemplary damages, as they claim that Ellen Kardashian had licensed their belongings to Bauer Publishing, which subsequently published the material in their magazines 'In Touch and Life and Style', Radar Online reported.
According to legal documents, Ellen had accused lawyers representing Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Rob Kardashian, and their mother Kris Jenner, of a sustained campaign of "legal bullying".
The Kardashians had shot back alleging that Ellen's camp "engaged in a calculated effort to avoid and failed and refused to engage in, the requisite meet and confer efforts", as directed by the court, before filing a counterclaim lawsuit against her.
Eventually, Eleen, who was married to the OJ Simpson attorney for two months before his 2003 death, filed a defamation lawsuit against the Kardashians in a state court.
