Kelly Brook's former boyfriend David McIntosh recently fell asleep behind the wheels while driving a van full of dead badgers.
The 28-year-old claimed that he lost control when a radio which police used to pass on intelligence about the location of anti-cull protesters fell under the breaks, the Daily Star reported.
The 'Gladiators' star said in a statement in court that he was carrying a badger carcasses to the furnace as he was involved in the cull.
He said that the radio was always kept in the vehicle on the dashboard so they could easily hear and keep up with police as to where the protesters were.
McIntosh further added that it was blocking the clutch and the break and before he could retrieve it the bodybuilder was heading off the road.
McIntosh was fined 91 pounds plus a 20 pounds victim surcharge and 30 pounds prosecution costs.
