Ketaki Dave's 'Naya Mahisagar' goes on-air from Feb 22

Ketaki Dave will soon be seen on BIG Magic's light-hearted relationship drama 'Naya Mahisagar', which will be telecast from February 22.

The show revolves around the life of Mahi - a sweet, carefree, small town girl, who falls in love with Sagar.

Set in the backdrop of Gujarat, the show that gained immense popularity among viewers for its stellar cast, has now come with more drama and entertainment.

Renowned television actress and household name Ketaki Dave will be seen essaying the role of Ansuya's mother-in-law, who has been given another chance by god to go to the earth and improve her relationship with her daughter-in-law.

The actress would be seen irritating her daughter-in-law in the form of spirit, correcting her actions and teaching her lessons, where she is wrong in her mischievously funny ways.

The role of Ansuya, a practical and calculative politician, will be essayed by popular actress Pranoti Pradhan.

Affable characters Mahi and Sagar, who were portrayed by Dharti Bhatt and Anuj Thakur, respectively, in season one of the show.

In an interview, Ketaki Dave said, "I am extremely excited to be a part of Naya Mahisagar. I will be essaying the role of a 'daadisaas', who is back from the heaven as a spirit and plays a key role in actions of the saas-bahu in the house to improve their relationship in her own peculiar funny way. I genuinely believe a show of this nature is much needed to give the audience a breather and make them laugh with relatable content."

Fans of the show can expect new faces, all of who are set to arrive on for the new season, only to add to laughter and entertainment.
