'Kingsman ' actress Sofia Boutella roped in for 'Star Trek 3' lead role

Sofia Boutella, who gained fame from recent hit movie 'Kingsman

Justin Lin will be taking the seat of the director from a script penned by cast member Simon Pegg and Doug Jung, who is the creator of the TNT series 'Dark Blue', Deadline.com reported.

Boutella got a lead role in the Paramount/Skydance film produced by Bad Robot that's based on the Gene Roddenberry series.
