Madonna has said that Lady Gaga doesn't want her "crown" in the world of pop but has also stood by her opinion that Gaga's 'Born This Way' was a 'rip-off' of 'Express Yourself'.
The 'Material Girl' hitmaker asserted in an interview with a magazine that they lived in a world where people like to pit women against each other and this was why she loved the idea of embracing other females who were doing what she was doing, the Mirror reported.
The 56-year-old singer continued that the only time she ever criticised Gaga was when she felt like she blatantly ripped off one of her songs and it had got nothing to do with "she's taking my crown" thing.
Madonna added that Gaga is a very talented singer and songwriter.
