Madonna has been criticized for not following theatre audience etiquette as she used her phone for texting during a performance at New York City's Public Theatre.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, composer of the show didn't take the name of the 'Living For Love' hit-maker, but said that there was a celebrity audience member who practiced poor theater-going etiquette, People Magazine reported.
The Tony award winner later tweeted that this was the first time that he asked stage management not to allow a celebrity at the show to use phone, though the tweet was later deleted.
A sourced learned that Madonna's phone addiction was pretty disturbing because the show was in a closed theater and also in addition to this the singer was 20 minutes late at the venue and caused a stir getting to her seat.
