Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane fired away two classy goals either side of halftime to help his side beat Chelsea, and his performance sent female fans into meltdown as they flocked on Twitter to beg the Englishman for his hand in marriage.
Kane's classy goals earned Tottenham a 5-3 win over current Premier League leaders Chelsea and the White Hart Lane female football fans displayed their love and support by chasing the forward on Twitter to be their groom.
A female fan tagged Kane in a tweet and wrote that she is a lardy middle-aged supporter who's already married, but she didn't hesitate to pop the question if Kane would marry her, adding that he is an absolute 'bloody marvel', the Daily Star reported.
A fellow supporter said that she stands by her declaration to marry Kane, while another added that the forward is one of their own, and asked the forward to marry her.
The two strikes against Chelsea take Kane's tally for the season to 16, the report added.
