Top seeded Indo-Swiss pair of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis produced a sublime performance as they outclassed Michaella Krajicek and Barbora Strycova to reach the quarter-finals of the US Open women's doubles event.
Mirza and Hingis smashed 23 winners as they claim a 6-3, 6-0 win over 13th seeded Dutch-Czech pair of Krajicek and Strycova in a contest that lasted over an hour at Flushing Meadows.
The Indo-Swiss duo, who bagged the Wimbledon crown in July, will next face the Chinese Taipei pair of Yung-Jan Chan and Hao-Ching Chan in the quarters.
