Mirza-Tecau duo enter mixed-doubles finals at Australian Open

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and her Romanian partner Horia Tecau have advanced into the Australian Open mixed-doubles finals event on Friday at the Rod Laver Arena.

Mirza and Tecau beat Slovak Jarmila Gajdosova and her Australian partner Matthew Ebden 2-6, 6-3 (10-2) at the Rod Laver Arena to gain a finals berth at Melbourne Park.

The pair will now meet either China's Jie Zheng and her American partner Scott Lipsky or Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic and her Canadian partner Daniel Nestor in their upcoming clash.
