American boxing star Floyd Mayweather Jr. has said that British Olympic medallist Amir Khan is back on his radar even as he readies himself to earn boxing's biggest-ever payday during the showdown with Mexican star Saul Alvarez.

According to the Daily Star, unbeaten in 44 fights and a world champion at five divisions, 'Pretty Boy' Mayweather challenges Alvarez for his WBC and WBA light-middleweight titles in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The report said that Mayweather will receive a record 29 billion-pound guarantee for the fight against Alvarez, the highest ever for a boxer, and can be expected to earn more with a staggering gross revenue of 128 million pounds for the fight from the global TV and advertising income.

Meanwhile, the report said that Khan might challenge American Devon Alexander for the IBF world welterweight title either in New York or Dubai on December 7, adding that a win will repair his credibility following his third career loss last year and put him back in the frame for a multi-million blockbuster with Mayweather.

Stating that he is prepared to take on someone Khan's size, Mayweather said that Khan has proven that he has a champion's heart in the ring, although he added that for now, he is focused on his fight with Alvarez.
