The photo of the head injury incurred by Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney were reportedly posted by him during a visit to a 'spooky' adventure park in UK with his family.
According to the Daily Star, Rooney posted the 'gruesome' Facebook picture of his gashed forehead, which occurred during an accidental clash with Phil Jones while training, at 'Spooky World' at Apple Jacks adventure park.
The report said that the 'Spooky World' is the ideal backdrop for Rooney, who according to England teammate Theo Walcott, resembled 'something out of a horror film' in the gory photograph.
A mock-up was reportedly also made of Rooney, showing him as having a thunder-bolt scar on his forehead like Harry Potter.
The mock-up was created by employees of one of UK's largest bookmakers William Hill, and they reckoned that the United ace will be left with a lightning-shaped scar like the famous fictional boy wizard.
