England batsman Eoin Morgan believes Australia would be more likely to target England skipper Alastair Cook than taking a dig at Joe Root, because they always look at the best players.
According to The Sun, Yorkshire star Root has been in the spotlight ahead of his first Ashes Test today especially when he was punched by Aussie counterpart David Warner in a bar last month.
The batsman has also attracted headlines after being preferred to Nick Compton at the top of England's order, the report said.
