Natasha Hamilton recently revealed that she was planning to eat her own placenta in from of pills to beat after-birth depression.

The 32-year-old singer, who's mom-of-three and is expecting her first baby with singer, Ritchie Neville, said that though she did feel "squeamish" at first, when she heard about its benefits she decided to have her placenta dried and converted into daily capsules, the Daily Express reported.

She added that she was ready to do "anything harmless" which could help her get rid of post-natal depression, which she had faced after her previous pregnancies, and encouraged breast milk supply.

The Atomic Kitten star said that she was glad that the placenta encapsulation wasn't as "messy or gross" as adding raw placenta to a smoothie.

Hamilton isn't the only celebrity who supports the consumption of placenta, as previously actresses January Jones and Alicia Silverstone too had admitted to eating it after giving birth.
