NBA star Lamar Odom was deep into drugs while he was playing for the Dallas Mavericks and for the Lakers, it has been revealed.
Sources at the Westin hotel in Memphis revealed that Odom had stayed in one of the guest rooms while his team was in town playing the Grizzlies, and reportedly left the room with major carpet damage including quarter-sized burn marks, in March 2012, TMZ.com reported.
Sources added that hotel employees also found white powder on the desk blotter and the room reeked of harmful smoke which made it evident that there was serious drug use going on in the hotel room.
Several hotels where the NBA players stay, confirmed that hotel employees had complained about the state of the 33-year old professional basketball player's room.
Another source revealed that Mavericks players didn't know about Odom's substance abuse but they figured something was wrong with him.
