Official trailer of 'Ben-Hur' is out

The official trailer of the upcoming American historical epic film 'Ben-Hur' is out and it shows a dramatic action packed scenes with plenty of chariots, horses and riders soaring through the air and colliding with one another.

The trailer gives a clear idea that the movie is based on a nobleman, Judah Ben-Hur (Jack Huston), who is falsely accused of an assassination attempt by his boyhood friend Messala (Toby Kebbell). He survives years of slavery under the Romans and attempts to get revenge.

The film, based on Lew Wallace's 1880 novel, is directed by Timur Bekmambetov and is written by Keith R. Clarke.

The film that stars Jack Huston, Morgan Freeman, Toby Kebbell, Nazanin Boniadi and Rodrigo Santoro in the pivotal roles, is scheduled to be released on August 12, 2016 in North America in 2D, 3D and Digital 3D.
