Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and National Conference (NC) leader Omar Abdullah on Friday accused the Mufti Mohammed Sayeed-led People' Democratic Party (PDP) -Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government of spying on him.

In a series of tweets, Omar stated that a journalist interviewing him was stopped and questioned allegedly by the CID.

"Mufti Govt brazenly spying on me. A journalist interviewing me for a national daily just got stopped right outside my gate by a CID person," he tweeted.

Omar further said that if the ruling PDP government wants to know what he was up to, then they should ask him.
