British TV host Piers Morgan is reportedly reluctant about the prospect of now trying to survive an over from South African pace spearhead Dale Steyn, weeks after taking a terrible six-ball pounding from former Australian speedster Brett Lee during the recent Ashes series.
Morgan seemingly had enough of facing premier pace bowlers in the nets and has shown his reluctance on his Twitter account, after he was invited by Steyn's former South African teammate Paul Harris to face the fast bowler.
According to Sport24, Morgan told his almost four million followers on Twitter that although his heart 'says yes', his ribs are 'saying no', even though Steyn himself challenged him to face him at Newlands and again get in a 'handicap zone'.
In trademark bullish fashion, Morgan retorted that Steyn should take on a 'wounded animal', who is on the 'rebound from Brett Lee'.
The report mentioned that Lee controversially showed no mercy during the televised stunt, hitting Morgan four times on the body and even bowling bouncers that followed him as he stepped away to leg during the onslaught, for which he was criticised.
