The Janata Dal (United) on Tuesday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his Bhagalpur rally, saying that Sunday's Swabhimaan Rally had shaken his confidence.

"The confidence of the prime minister is shaken and you don't find that old accent. He is nervous after the Swabhimaan Rally and that is evident," said JD (U) leader Ali Anwar.

Responding to the Prime Minister Modi's remark of JD(U) ignoring the Jay Prakash Narayan's ideology and forming a coalition with the Congress, Anwar said that they are from the same clan and socialist ideology and can mix with each other at any time.

"They should ponder over themselves because they have formed a coalition with Ram Vilas Paswan in Bihar and PDP in Jammu and Kashmir whom they blamed earlier," he said.

"BJP does not have the moral right to blame us on forming the coalition," Anwar added.

Accusing Prime Minister Modi of cheating people, he further said, that the Prime Minister should have told people of his commitments he made during the assembly elections 2014.

Asked about the rally's comparison to Swabhimaan Rally, he said that the rally in Bhagalpur was nowhere near to that in Patna on Sunday.
