Police guard hurt in militant firing in Shopian

Unidentified militants opened fire on a police guard at a branch of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank in the Kachdoora area of Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian District on Friday.

Reports said that he was critical.

The area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched. Further details are awaited.
