Reacting to the arrest of alleged pro-ISIS twitter handler 'Mehdi' in Bangalore, Security expert Qamar Agha on Saturday said that the issue has to be dealt with at an ideological level.
"It is serious in the sense it is an ideology which we have to confront, it's not only the military or police problem." Agha told ANI here.
"We have to fight with the ideology. There's a need to fight it at the ideological level also. The civil society groups and social organizations, religious leaders or spiritual leaders of the Muslim community should come forward and join this war against terror," he added.
Agha further said that ISIS has been successful in establishing its links all over the world, and added that India is no exception to that.
"There are two things; one is to find out about the network operating in London and other western European capitals and their linkages with India. Second thing, the funding, from where the funding is coming whether it is directly they are receiving or if some Indians are behind it," he added.
