Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Friday expressed his concern over the death of two army jawans in Handwara encounter and said that the government will seek a detailed report of the untoward incident.
"We will take the report now. I will meet the Home Minister (Rajnath Singh) now. We will seek a report. We will do the needful for the deceased jawans," Rijiju told the media here.
At least two army jawans and two militants were killed in an encounter between the security forces and militants in Laribal forest area of Jammu and Kashmir's Handwara district on Thursday night.
