Veteran Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand is reportedly planning to team with successful American rapper Jay Z to bring out his own clothing line next year.
Sources claimed that Ferdinand had used a Jay-Z concert as an opportunity to approach the moneybags rapper with his business idea as he is looking for new projects to focus his time if he retires from the sport next year.
According to the Daily Star, the sources also said that Ferdinand has always been interested in fashion and is aware that teaming up with Jay-Z would be an excellent move, adding that the footballer is hoping to woo the rapper with a strong business idea.
The report mentioned that Jay-Z had previously teamed up with Chelsea player Ashley Cole when trying to bring his 40/40 restaurant to London.
