The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) workers held a candle light march here on Saturday for the victims of the Nepal earthquake.
RJD leader Mudrika Singh Yadav said that they have gathered to offer their condolence to those who have lost their lives in the devastating earthquake.
"Thousands of people have lost their lives in the earthquake that hit Nepal; several people in Bihar have also died. In this hour of loss, the entire RJD family is with the victims. We offer our condolences to those who have lost their lives due to this natural calamity. We are extremely saddened by the incident," Yadav said.
The death toll following the devastating earth-quake that rattled the Himalayan nation of Nepal a week ago has crossed 6,600. Over 14,000 people have received injuries so far.
Fresh aftershocks were reported this morning and Friday night in Kathmandu and other areas. It created panic among the people, who scrambled for open spaces.
