Robert De Niro is set to star in Stephen Sepher-scripted action thriller 'Bus 757'.

The film, which will be directed by Scott Mann, centers on a casino card dealer who puts together a crew to simultaneously rob a bank and hijack a bus full of hostages to use as collateral, Deadline.com reported.

De Niro plays the role of "The Pope", a casino owner with illegitimate business practices whose assets are the targets of the heist.

EFOF principals Randall Emmett and George Furla are producing and financing the film.
