Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds, who marked his 41st birthday yesterday, celebrated the special day with his signature humour in a post on his Twitter account.

The 'Deadpool 2' star took to his Twitter profile and wrote how his daughters Ines and James were planning something to surprise him, but he snuck out to start a new life instead.

Taking it to Twitter, he wrote, "My kids tried to surprise me for my birthday this morning. I totally heard them coming and snuck out to start a new life somewhere else."

In reality, Ryan has a lot of love for his family and has previously admitted that he would be really thrilled to add more "females" to his brood in the future.

"If I could have nine daughters I would be thrilled. Really, like I genuinely would be. There's more love, there's more diapers. There's more all that stuff, you know? [Fatherhood] is the best thing. It's the best thing that could ever happen to you," noted Reynolds.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ryan Reynolds will be next seen in 'Deadpool 2' alongside Josh Brolin, Zazie Beetz, Morena Baccarin, T. J. Miller, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic.

Helmed by David Leitch, the film is slated to hit the theatres on June 1, 2018.
