Sachin thanks Mumbai, BCCI for 'fantastic support' during career

Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar has said in his emotional farewell speech that the BCCI and Mumbai cricket were both fantastic during his career and he loved playing state cricket.

Sachin said that it was great of the BCCI to give him a chance to play cricket while he was just 16 years old.

He also recalled coming from New Zealand at 4 am one day and turning up to play for Mumbai at 8 am because he loved to play for them.
