Selena Gomez has informed her friends that she is splitting up with on-off beau Justin Bieber, and this time there will be no reconciliation.
The 'Come and Get it' hit maker confirmed her break-up in May on a Boston radio station by saying that she was available for dating, Radar Online reported.
An Insider close to the 20-year-old actress has told the publication that friends, including pop star Taylor Swift, have been urging her to end her relationship with Bieber for quite some time.
The source said that Gomez is no angel herself, but troubled Beiber is certainly not the type of boy she needs in her life.
The insider asserted that Gomez has finally taken some of their advice to heart and swears it's finally over with him, for good.
The source told the tabloid that Gomez doesn't see herself getting back together with him and just needs to move on.
The insider said that the singer, whose mom is pregnant and music career is booming, has a lot on her plate right now to keep her mind off Bieber, and has asked her friends to keep her accountable.
The insider further added that Gomez got back together with Beiber only because she thought that she could 'save him' from the downward spiral and change his childish ways, but she's over him now.
