A US man who visited Walmart to get the benefit of low prices there got more than he thought- he found his lady love in the store.
The couple met in a North Carolina Walmart and returned to the same store to hold their wedding ceremony, News24.com reported.
Wayne Brandenburg told the publication that he would casually browse through the store a few times a week and that was where he met his future wife, Susan, who was working there as a cashier.
Brandenburg was a widower, while Susan was working at the store after her divorce.
He built up the courage to ask her on a date, and began taking Susan's favourite lunch to Walmart each day.
Brandenburg proposed to Susan a year later and she accepted but the couple was not officially married until six years later.
The couple decided to get married in the same store where they had met.
