Shakira will launch a line of baby toys in collaboration with American toy company Fisher-Price, it has been revealed.
The 37-year-old co-developed six products, including a bouncer that plays music, alphabet blocks and a musical soccer ball, an ode to her soccer-playing boyfriend Gerard Pique, who plays for FC Barcelona, CBS reported.
Geoff Walker, executive vice president of the Fisher-Price Global Brands Team, said in an interview that the singer brought in both "authenticity" and emotion, and that's why this was such an exciting moment.
The Colombian singer asserted that she saw how important developmental milestones were and how toys could help babies reach them including with her own son.
