Stephen King, JJ Abrams' bringing miniseries on Kennedy's assassination on Hulu

Stephen King and JJ Abrams are coming together for a miniseries on John F. Kennedy's assassination on online video streaming channel Hulu.

The nine-hour series revolves around a high school English teacher who travels back in time to try and prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the Verge reported.

Bridget Carpenter who gained fame form Friday Night Lights and Dead Like Me will adapt the novel for television.

The series will be based on King's 2011 novel 11/22/63.
